Wicked Wednesday #8 - Black and White

Hello ATC lovers!  It's Wednesday again and that means we have another fun ATC challenge for you all!  First things first, though - let's pick a winner for this gorgeous image from last week's sponsor, Michelle Perkett Studio, called Stella the Summer Storyteller.

And that winner would be....
Congratulations heiki!  Please shoot me an e-mail at JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Books/Reading ATC Winner" in the subject line and I'll get your "Stella the Summer Storyteller" digi out to you ASAP!

Our top 3 this week are:
1.)  Joanne
4.)  Mary
5.)  Starla

Congratulations!  Please send an e-mail to JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Books/Reading ATC Top 3" in the subject line, and I'll send you along your Top 3 badge (unless you already have it)!  (I checked to be sure the winner and top 3 had followed the rules before posting, thank you for doing so.)

Now on to the new challenge for this week!  Our new challenge theme is:

Black and White
Instead of a sponsor this week, I have a little prize package to send along to our random winner - it's a package of 6x6 Designer Series Patterned Paper from Stampin' Up! and a little mini clear rubber "Girl's Night Out" stamp set from Studio g:

So here's some eye candy to hopefully inspire you to play along!

I made my first ATC with a Prickley Pear stamp set that I won for playing along in one of their challenges - I have a "thing" for owls, and I just love the way you stamp the different elements for this one and then piece them together:

This next ATC is really simple - you can see my blog for details:

Sharon used Priscilla's Winter Play Time from CS Designs - and I love the background she created:

Megan used her own Dilly Beans image called Zombie Christmas Elf - I LOVE the way Megan incorporates white into everything to give it dimension and make it pop, like the candy on the hat - it looks all 3D, super cool:

Pauline's beautiful bow with sparkle all over it is just simple and elegant, isn't it?

Doesn't my Design Team rock?  Well, we've got some awesome artists who are submitting every single week faithfully, too, and I hope you're all checking out the fabulous talent and leaving them some comments, letting them know how wonderful they are!  :)  Thank you, ladies, I appreciate your loyalty and I hope you're having fun.  xoxo

OK - you're off - go create a black and white ATC and link it up here!  Remember to check the rules and guidelines before submitting and link up below by next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. EST.  Can't wait to see what you all come up with for this one.  Peace.

Reminder - Books/Reading Challenge!

Sorry for the late post, peeps!  Black Friday kicked my butt this year - I'm apparently not as young as I think I am, and my body does not like me to force it to stay up all night.  HMPH!  We had a fabulous Thanksgiving, and I hope all of my USA friends did, too.  My sister and I did some Black Friday shopping - we went out around 11:00 p.m. and got home at 3:30 a.m.  I only slept for about 2 hours - just couldn't shut my mind off!  So I was a bit of a mess yesterday!  LOL  Let's just say the couch and I were BFF's for the majority of the day yesterday.

So anyway - here's your reminder about this week's ATC challenge theme, which is BOOKS/READING!  We've had a few great entries, you are all so creative and I just love seeing what you've come up with.  I decided to make an ATC based on one of my favorite books, Alice in Wonderland!  So I used one of my new images from Saturated Canary (who is going to be one of our sponsors soon - yay!), this one is called the Mad Hattress:
I focused on her upper body and colored her with a combination of Prismacolor, Copic, and Stampin' Up! markers.  Cardstock is from SU!  I applied the image with foam dimensional dots and hand-wrote the "Time for Tea" sentiment.  I dragged the edges of the cardstock through an ink pad and spritzed the entire thing with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz.

Don't forget to check out the original post here to link up and see the beautiful image you could win from Michelle Perkett Studio!  :)  Enjoy the rest of your weekend, friends!  Peace.

And that winner would be....
Congratulations Beverly G.!  Please shoot me an e-mail at JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Flowerful ATC Winner" in the subject line and I'll get your "Rosie Framed" digi out to you ASAP!

Our top 3 this week are:

6.) Donna Mundinger
7.) heike
8.) Mary

Congratulations!  Please send an e-mail to JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Flowerful ATC Top 3" in the subject line, and I'll send you along your Top 3 badge (unless you already have it)!  (I checked to be sure the winner and top 3 had followed the rules before posting, thank you for doing so.)

Now on to the new challenge for this week!  Our new challenge theme is:

Books/Reading

You can interpret this however you like - use books on your ATC, base your ATC on your favorite book, use book print/text on your ATC, etc.  Just make sure you explain in your post how it relates to the theme, if it's not obvious.  Thanks!

This week's generous sponsor is:

The image the DT and I are playing with and providing as a prize to one random participant this week is Stella the Summer Storyteller

So here's some eye candy to hopefully inspire you to play along!

I colored my Stella image with Prismacolor markers and mineral spirits.  DP is from Donna Salazar:

I also made an ATC with a cropped version of Stella, as the rest of my DT did! I thought it was cool to see how we all cropped her differently.  Check out my blog here for the details:

Sharon focused on Stella herself, did a fab job coloring and just how does she always seem to come up with the most awesomely coordinating DP?

I love how Chelsea made Stella's dress and the kitty overlapping the grass - makes the image just pop out at you:

Megan used fussy cutting for her image, too, and that text background is so perfect, isn't it?  I love her coloring and highlighting, too:

So remember to check the rules and guidelines before submitting and link up your ATC below by next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. EST.  I'm looking forward to seeing the different interpretations of this challenge!  Peace.

Reminder - Flowerful ATC Challenge

Hello friends!  I'm here to remind you about our current challenge, FLOWERFUL ATC's!  I had so much fun crafting with my 16-year-old daughter last week, and was thrilled that she enjoyed it and wants to do it again!  We're going to spend today making stuff, I am looking forward to it.  So last week, I made a few more ATC's with a flowerful theme, and Sharon also made another one for today's post.

Here's what we've got, starting with Sharon's bright and cheery ATC using one of the Angels from Dilly Beans, isn't she fussy cut and colored beautifully?

My ATC also uses the Angel image:

And this one is made with Rosie Framed, the image we're offering up as our prize this week - but I fussy cut her out of the frame, creating a different look for Rosie:

Don't forget, you've got until Tuesday 7:00 p.m. EST to link up your flowerful ATC here.  Have a wonderful weekend!
Peace.

WW#6 - Flowerful ATC's - Dilly Beans!

Well it's Wednesday again and you know what that means - time for another fun ATC challenge!  I was amazed at the diversity in the ATC's posted for the ANGEL themed challenge last week - we had everything from beautiful hand-painted angels to gothic looking funky angels!  So let's get right down to business and let Random.org choose who will receive the sweet Flower Angel image from our generous sponsor, Just Some Lines:

Now on to the new challenge for this week!  Our new challenge theme is:

Flowerful

So this one's pretty easy - simply create an ATC and include flowers. This week's generous sponsor is:

And the image we're playing with and providing as a prize to one random participant is Rosie Framed.

Here's what my awesome Design Team and myself have come up with for this week!

I colored my Rosie Framed image as a blonde, you can read the complete details about it on my blog here:
Megan is a regular champ at creating ATC's and this week she rocked her own design with this gorgeous piece of artwork (I am totally jealous of the way she colors black hair, by the way):

Sharon made this absolutely phenomenal fabric ATC - look at that stitching!  Let's just say they threw me out of home ec and into a typing class (that I totally kicked butt in, BTW)... I am in awe of stitching/sewing on crafts:

I absolutely love the way Chelsea did the eyes on her Rosie ATC, they are sort of hypnotizing, aren't they?

There's something about red and black and white that just grabs the eye, right?  Pauline totally rocked it with her bright and cheerful Rosie:

So remember to check the rules and guidelines before submitting and link up your ATC below by next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. EST.  Can't wait to see your flowerful creations!  Peace.

Reminder - Angel ATC Challenge

Happy Saturday!  Although it kinda feels like a Sunday, doesn't it?  We celebrated Veteran's Day yesterday, so everyone had the day off.  Long weekends are just extra nice.  Anyway - I'm here today to see if you'd like a chance to win this sweet Flower Angel image from our generous sponsor, Just Some Lines:

Yes?  Of course you do!  So get creating - all you need to do is make an ATC with an angel theme and link up to the original post here by Tuesday 7:00 p.m. EST  Just to give you a little more inspiration, below are a couple more ATC's made with this adorable image.
**************************
I (Jenn) used soft colors for my ATC - my DP is from My Mind's Eye, I just love this paper, and I paper-pieced her dress:

Pauline created a gorgeous sky background and added a matching border of flowers, so pretty:
Thanks for peeking in on us and we'd love to have you play along.  I plan to start asking some of our participants to be Guest Designers, we've been having a lot of fun with this challenge blog and meeting some wonderful, friendly, sweet, extremely talented folks!  So play along - you never know, you could be our first Guest Designer!  :)  Peace.

Now on to the new challenge for this week!  Our new challenge theme is:

Angelic ATC's

So this one's pretty easy - simply create an ATC with an angel theme. This week's generous sponsor is:

And the image we're playing with and providing as a prize to one random participant is Flower Angel.

Here's what my awesome Design Team and myself have come up with for this week!

My ATC was made with some DP from My Mind's Eye, I love that cloud motif:

I love the pink hair Megan gave to the Flower Angel, and that polka dot paper is delicious:

Chelsea's gorgeous clouds that hang off the edge of the ATC are the perfect touch:

Sharon gave a beautiful vintage look to her Flower Angel, and I just adore the lettering she used:

I have always had a "thing" for angels, and I am really looking forward to seeing the variety of styles you all come up with!  Please remember:  no back-linking (new creations only), you must mention us and link to us in your post, you can enter up to two (2) times, and you should not combine our challenge with more than FIVE (5) additional challenges in order to be eligible for the prize and/or the Top 3.  Thank you! Reminder - Alice in Wonderland Challenge!

Hello friends!  Just a quick reminder today - you've got until Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. EST to link up your Alice in Wonderland ATC here.  The lucky random winner who follows our rules will win this adorable image of Alice from this week's sponsor, Tiddly Inks:

Megan and I have some more inspiration for you today!  I (that would be Jenn) made a dark-haired version of Alice, whose time seems to be getting away from her... hee hee:
I colored Alice with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits, the numbers are stickers.  My DP is digi paper, and I love it because I can print the black checks onto any color of cardstock for a different look - here it's printed on Very Vanilla, and Alice is printed on the same.

Megan made a gorgeous creation, complete with clouds in the sky and mushrooms at Alice's feet:
We've had some gorgeous ATC's linked up already - hope to see more this week!  Have a nice weekend and stay warm!  :)  Peace.

Now on to the new challenge for this week!  Our new challenge theme is:

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Your ATC can be anything Alice-related at all - it doesn't have to be an image of Alice.
This week's generous sponsor is:

And the image we're playing with and providing as a prize to one random participant is Alice

Here is my creation (Jenn), I used a really cool digi image from Sassy Studio for the background (Queen of Hearts Card):

Pauline's beautiful realistic background scene looks so perfect behind Alice:

Chelsea used the clock printed repeatedly as a background, and I love the sentiment:

Sharon's butterfly pops off the ATC at you, resting on that background of cool gears and sprockets:

I am so looking forward to seeing your creations honoring one of my favorite stories of all time, Alice in Wonderland.  Please remember:  no back-linking (new creations only), you must mention us and link to us in your post, and you should not combine our challenge with more than FIVE (5) additional challenges in order to be eligible for the prize and/or the Top 3.  Thank you!
