REMINDER - Set of 3 ATC's!

Good morning!  I know this week's challenge is especially, errrr, challenging - hee hee - which makes me appreciate even more the effort you're putting into your creations!  Thank you so much for joining us, for visiting the other entrant's blogs and leaving some love (comments) on them.  I thoroughly enjoy seeing everyone's unique creations!

Our DT member Pauline has a gorgeous set of 3 to share with you today using the image Celeste the Good Witch from our generous sponsor Michelle Perkett Studio!
If you look close, you can see how clever Pauline was with her creations - each image is cropped slightly differently.  Her coloring is different on each one, but they're all gorgeous!

And I made a different set of 3 for today's post:
I used pieces of heavy Designer Paper (DP) for my base, I often will sit in front of the TV at night and cut my larger cardstock (or heavy DP) scraps into ATC sized pieces.  I then keep them in a Ziploc baggie along with any other little pieces that I think would be perfect for ATC's.  The words were stickers from a scrapbook set I had - the stickiness was gone, so I fussy-cut them out and used adhesive to apply them.  I added gemstone and little heart stickers and voila - done.  :)  These were super easy to make with no coloring - but I admit, coloring is my favorite part of my crafting!

Hope you all find time this weekend to create your set of 3 ATC's - just remember, they must have some type of theme to them (they can be matching, coordinating, 3 of the same, based on a theme, etc.).  You can read the original post and link up here.
Have a great weekend!  Peace.

New Challenge - Set of 3 - Sponsored by Michelle Perkett Studio!

WOW - I was blown away by the fact that we had double the number of players for our 2nd week as we had for our first!  Keep up the good work, peeps!  (That means keep playing!  hee hee)

OK first things first - I put the numbers into the Random.org and the winner of the creepy-cute Heart Monster image from Dilly Beans is:

Congratulations Tina!  Please shoot me an e-mail at JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Halloween Winner" in the subject line and I'll get your digi out to you ASAP!

Our top 3 this week are:

2.) Hazel (didos)
11.)  Gez

Congrats - send an e-mail to JennBorj@yahoo.com with "WW Halloween Top 3" in the subject line, and I'll send you along your Top 3 badge!  I checked to be sure the winner and top 3 had followed the rules before posting, thank you for doing so.

Now on to the new challenge for this week!

This week's image is brought to you by Michelle Perkett Studio, and is called Celeste the Good Witch:
Our theme this week is:

Set of 3 ATC's
They can be 3 of the same, 3 coordinating, however you want to do it but it has to be a "set" in some way - in other words, don't just post 3 random ATC's you've made, there has to be something that ties them together.  Got it?  Good!  Now here's some inspiration from me and the fabulous Design Team!

I'll go first:

I used digital paper from Shery K Designs, colored my images to match (the broom and sentiment were a freebie posted on Michelle Perkett's blog here) with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits.  Buttons and gemstone stickers are from my stash.

Sharon's coloring is phenomenal and those papers are beautiful.  I love how she used a mirror image of Celeste along with a clever sentiment - Are you a good witch or a bad witch?  Well?  What are you?  As for me - depends on the day!  ;)

Chelsea's colorful trio looks perfect on those adorable easels of hers, don't they?  I absolutely love how each one uses such a perfect coordinating light/dark shade of each color.  So pretty!

Gorgeous, eh?  OK now the rules are pretty simple but a basic overview is that creations must be new (no back-linking), you must mention us and link to us in your post, and you should not combine our challenge with more than FIVE (5) additional challenges in order to be eligible for the prize and/or the Top 3.  Thank you!  Now go get busy with your set of 3 ATC's - just think, you'll have an instant gift ready for someone (stick a magnet on the back of each one, put them in a small box - or make a small box - and tie a ribbon around it!).  Peace.

Reminder and New Winner!

Last week's winner, Lissa, let me know that she doesn't actually use digi images and has no printer, so she asked me to go ahead and give the prize from last week to someone else.  I put the info in Random.org again but I am not able to save the widget this time, I don't know why - I think I need some help with this Random.org thing - ugh!  Anyway - the winner is:

Congratulations, Ardilla, please e-mail me at JennBorj@yahoo.com and put "WW Winner" in the subject line so I can send you along the Just Some Lines image "Gab in the Groove".  :)

Don't forget to play along with our new Halloween-themed challenge this week - you can win this adorable Heart Monster digi from Dilly Beans:

I just love these images - hope you'll play along for a chance to win one!  Have a great weekend, my friends.  Peace.

Now onto our next order of business - our new challenge!  The theme this week is:

HALLOWEEN!
This week we are being sponsored by our very own Megan's digital stamp company, Dilly Beans, and the image you can win is Heart Monster:

And here's what me and the fabulous DT have come up with using this scary cutie:

Jenn (that's me) cropped Heart Monster's head for a close-up version, stuck with a black and white color scheme and sprayed Silver Foil Smooch Spritz over the entire thing:

Sharon made this colorful creation, I love the "Boo Who?" sentiment:

Pauline's faux stitching around the border of the ATC is the perfect touch:

Chelsea's red heart really pops, and the sponged background is such a great touch:

Megan's polka dot background paper is so perfect with that red heart and those red-rimmed eyes:

I hope you will play along with us this week and create a Halloween based ATC!  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.  Don't forget - challenges close at 7:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday evening.  Please leave me a comment after linking up, too, I love to hear what you have to say!  Visit the other entrant's blogs and leave them some love, too - that's what our crafting community is all about.  :)  Peace.

OK now let me introduce you to our Design Team!

My name is Jenn

Here's my creation, I painted my cardstock and cut into ATC sized pieces, printed Gab on copy paper and colored her with Prismacolor markers.  I cut the words out of a magazine and used Mod Podge to apply everything to the painted piece of cardstock:

Next up is Sharon

I love the vintagey look she gave to Gab:

Next is Chelsea

And here's Chelsea's "Lotsa' Love" cutie:

Welcome to Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog!

Hi there!  I am sooooo excited to welcome you to my new challenge blog - Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenges!  This challenge blog is dedicated to.... you guessed it - ATC's!  ATC's are Artist Trading Cards.  They are mini works of art - the only real "rules" are that they must be 3.5 x 2.5 inches.  You can use any supplies, mediums, etc. that you want - here are a few websites that you can browse for some ideas:

ATC's for All

Art in Your Pocket ATC Gallery

New challenges will be posted every Wednesday morning, along with a theme for the week.  Our generous sponsors will provide the Design Team (please see link above for Design Team page, with links to their individual websites/blogs, as well) with images, which we will be creating our weekly ATC with.  The random winner of each challenge will receive the same image as their prize, along with a winner's badge for their blog/website.  We will also choose a Top 3 each week, who will be sent a "Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Top 3" badge for their blog.

Just some info about ATC's - they are typically more... poetic, "edgy", dramatic... than cards.  They are meant to be kept or traded, never sold, which to me means I'm free to do whatever I want - sometimes I use handwriting on my ATC's, something I'd never do on a card.  I also like to sit with a magazine at night and cut out words from ads, articles, etc. and I keep them in a plastic baggie - I then piece them together to create a poem or sentence (or just random words!) on an ATC.  Here are just a few ATC's I've made over the past few months:

Images from Dilly Beans & Tiddly Inks - cardstock from Crate Paper - ribbon & inks from Stampin' Up!

Image from Just Some Lines - entire ATC was coated with Mod Podge and sprinkled with glitter.

 All supplies from Stampin' Up!

Please come back for our first challenge on Wednesday - I'll also introduce you to my fabulous Design Team!  We are super excited and can't wait to share our creations with you and see what you can come up with!  Peace.
